Matthew 6, 19-23. Ordinary Time. Purify our hearts so that Christ is the only treasure for which we take it all.
Do not store up riches in this world, the riches of this world, moth-eaten and spoil and the robbers come and steal. In this passage, Jesus wants to teach us how to how to proceed in this world to gain heaven, which works to produce good fruit and purify our hearts to love Him rather than the world and its pleasures.
